Royal Dano Overview:
Character actor, Royal Dano, was born Royal Edward Dano Sr. on Nov 16, 1922 in New York City, NY. Dano died at the age of 71 on May 15, 1994 in Los Angeles, CA .
MINI BIO:
Somehow, this American actor always seemed to be playing harbingers of doom in one way or another. His jaws forever clamped tightly together, you felt he would have been happy delivering telegrams of bereavement or finding a nice, damp grave in which to bed down for the night. Sometimes he was a sheriff, sometimes a fire-breathing evangelist, sometimes just the bad guy's henchman: there certainly wasn't much humor in Dano's 42 years of scattered screen roles. Died of a heart attack.

Royal Dano Quotes:
Dr. Eli Prather:
You're dying, Richie. Don't fight it, boy, just let it come nice and easy.
[during an cholera epidemic]
Dr. Eli Prather: Don't talk to me, I'm busy killin' people.
Ode: We'll be taking Bull up to the wild horse country. He'd want to be planted where he could hear the sound of them mustang feet just a drummin' on his grave.
