MINI BIO:
Somehow, this American actor always seemed to be playing harbingers of doom in one way or another. His jaws forever clamped tightly together, you felt he would have been happy delivering telegrams of bereavement or finding a nice, damp grave in which to bed down for the night. Sometimes he was a sheriff, sometimes a fire-breathing evangelist, sometimes just the bad guy's henchman: there certainly wasn't much humor in Dano's 42 years of scattered screen roles. Died of a heart attack.

Maj. Sanders, CSA: We received the news yesterday.

Maj. Sanders, CSA: Yes, sir... that's always been the saddest part of it.
