SYNOPSIS
Well-realized remake of The Asphalt Jungle, with a western setting. Two men, the Dutchman and McBain, have just been released from the Arizona Territorial Prison. Their plan is to pull off one last heist, which will support them forever. But along comes a wandering geologist to foil their scheme by trying to steal $200,000 in gold from under their noses. As the double-crosses pile, so does the tension. Borgnine and Ladd are magnificent as the ex-cons. Based on the novel by W.R. Burnett.

Quotes from
Peter Van Hoek:
And this time, we won't need a button hook...
Peter Van Hoek: How about being an outside partner?
John McBain: No, I wouldn't make a partnership with God.
The Marshal: Oh, that suite is taken. So is every room in the hotel. And every other hotel in town. You might try the stable across the bridge.
Peter Van Hoek: I like horses, Marshal, but not as roommates.
