One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since.
Filmed in 1943, with an on-screen 1944 copyright statement, but not released until 1945.
This film was such a hit that it actually set an attendance record at the Paramount Theater in New York.
