The red brick mansion at Old Westbury Gardens appeared in North by Northwest as Phillip Vandamm's (James Mason) estate (supposedly at 169 Baywood, Glen Cove). It is here where Thornhill (Cary Grant) is force-fed bourbon by Leonard (Martin Landau).
