SYNOPSIS
Robinson portrays a tuna fisherman who loses a hand to a shark and then his wife's affections to his friend (Arlen). This early Hawks outing portrays the dangers of the fisherman's life, and Robinson finds the tenderness that turns to murderous revenge in his character. In a vague allusion to Moby Dick, Robinson meets his shark nemesis again and is dragged to his death by a rope attached to a harpoon.
