In the 1934 episode "Punch Drunks", Moe orders burnt toast and a rotten egg. Curly then asks why, so Moe says he has a tape worm, and that's good enough for it. 5 years later in the 1939 episode "Three Sappy People", that gag is repeated except that Curly orders burnt toast and a rotten egg.
