Facts about The Revenge of Tarzan

Franklin B. Coates, who played Tarzan's friend, was one of four men who traveled the Amazon from the delta to its source as a member of Captain Besley's expedition in 1914-15 and was of value in the production for his knowledge of the jungle.
Animals used in the production included L-K.O. lion star,Vendredi, along with seven other lions, Joe Martin the orangutan, Charley the elephant, 50 white horses, two tigers, two camels, five old mules and several apes and gorillas.
Actor Armand Cortes who almost drowned when a lifeboat capsized during the filming of the sea scenes, took his violin along to enliven the moments of leisure, but he was too sea sick to take the bow in hand once.
