Biograph Company is now in development of a re-make for it's 1909 western melodrama The Red Man's View.This movie is unique in the sense that, since the film Dances with Wolves, this will film will be one of the few films made centering around the actual lives of Native Americans during the time of the "Indian" Wars in the 1800's.
This film stars Lottie Pickford as "Minewanna", who is the sister of actress Mary Pickford.
The original film was praised by tribal associations and reservation leaders throughout the country when it was released 100 years ago.
