This is the last film that Dick Weston aka Leonard Slye would appear in before becoming "Roy Rogers". The following year he would star as Roy Rogers in his first feature, Under Western Stars.
Gene Autry temporarily left Republic Pictures in a contract after this film. As Republic's "singing cowboy" he was replaced in his next scheduled feature, Under Western Stars, by the young singer Dick Weston, whom the studio renamed Roy Rogers.
Film debut of Cal Shrum.
