Facts about

This film - and many other Pearl White serials - was shot on the palisades of Fort Lee, NJ, at a time when most movies were filmed on the East Coast. In fact, Fort Lee - not, as is often believed, Hollywood - is the actual birthplace of the motion picture industry.
A complete copy was recently found in the Moscow Film Archive in Russia, in great condition. It still has the Russian title cards. Apparently Russian film director Sergei M. Eisenstein was a big fan of star Pearl White and managed to acquire a copy.
Except for the first two episodes, no surviving copies of this film are known to exist. Please check your attic.
