The Big Shot (1942) was a Drama - Crime Film directed by Lewis Seiler and produced by Walter MacEwen.
SYNOPSIS
Released from prison, Duke Berne (Bogart) is pulled back into a life of crime. Joining two other hoods for a robbery, Duke backs out at the last moment at the advice of his ex-girlfriend. The robbery goes awry and Duke is framed for it. Sent to prison again, Duke escapes and kills a guard in the process. He searches for the man who ratted him out to the police, is surprised to discover who it was, and takes revenge.
