Facts about

For this film, producer Sy Weintraub replaced Gordon Scott with Jock Mahoney. Weintraub wanted a leaner, less muscular, Tarzan. Gordon Scott was able to cash in on incredible physique by becoming one of the most popular stars in the Italian made sword and sandal/mythological muscle-man movies that had become box office hits in that period.
