Man's Favorite Sport? Overview:

Man's Favorite Sport? (1964) was a Comedy - Romance Film directed by Howard Hawks and produced by Howard Hawks.

SYNOPSIS

The man in question is Hudson, a fishing equipment salesman for Abercrombie & Fitch whose knowledge of fly-casting is limited to demonstrations in department store showrooms. The sport in question is actually the pursuit of women, and the woman in question is Prentiss, playing another version of Hawks's sassy, confident heroines. This was Hawks's return to screwball comedy, after such notable outings as Bringing Up Baby (1938), Ball of Fire, (1941), and His Girl Friday (1940).
