Facts about

Some cast members in studio records/casting call lists did not appear or were not identifiable in the movie. These were (with their character names): Rosella Towne (Secretary), Jack Mower (Waiter), Hal Craig (Detective), John Harron (Photographer), Don DeFore (Cowboy Buck Delanye) and Sonny Chorre (Leaping Deer).
The roles played by John Payne and Margaret Lindsay were originally intended for Dick Powell and Bette Davis. Powell took a layoff rather than make this film.
According to 'Ronnie Defore', who maintains a fan website on his father at www.defore.net, Don DeFore' appeared uncredited in this film.
