Artists and Models (1955) was a Musical - Comedy Film directed by Frank Tashlin and produced by Hal B. Wallis and Paul Nathan.

SYNOPSIS

Martin and Lewis at their best as tyro comic-book artist Martin uses the feverish dreams of his daffy roommate Lewis for storylines. Turns out the comic-fueled reverie contains real government secrets, and the chase is on. Great women in support: MacLaine, Malone, Gabor, Ekberg.

According to the Paramount Collection at the AMPAS Library the film was produced at the cost of $1,701,083, which was $103,083 over its allotted budget. Because of the budget overruns, a planned "The Bat Lady" musical production number was never filmed.
The song "Innamorata", written for this film, went on to be a major record hit for Dean Martin and several other singers.
