SYNOPSIS
Melodrama about the early romance of a now middle-aged owner of a California rooming house. Told in flashbacks, the story follows her trail from New York City to Beverly Hills after she becomes the mistress of a man she meets in New York and pretends to be his wife. He dies and she later learns he was a rich industrialist.
