A Jewel Production. Universal, lacking a theater chain of its own, devised a 3-tiered branding system for its product: Red Feather (low budget programmers), Bluebird (mainstream releases) and Jewel (prestige productions designed to draw higher roadshow ticket prices). This system would fade away in late 1929.
