Striking, dark-haired Swedish actress. She went to Hollywood in 1947 and stayed, rather surprisingly in view of the fact that the film capital never knew how best to use her strong acting style. Married to director Don Siegel (second of three) from 1949 to 1953. The actor Kristoffer Tabori is her son. Don Juan: All my life I seem to have been stumbling around as if in darkness. I am no longer.
Queen Margaret: Silence! You have no right to speak to me that way. I forbid you.
Don Juan: But I would never have spoken except by your command.
Queen Margaret: Then I was wrong to command you. Wrong to believe that you could reform. Or that friendship and loyalty could ever replace your desire for another conquest.

Queen Margaret: [to Don Juan] You're no credit to this crown or to our flag.
