MINI BIO:

American actor who almost always played a bad guy - often one who turned yellow in the end. The son of another character actor, Russian-born Maurice Moscovitch (1871-1940), he was billed in the theatre as Nat Madison, then came to Hollywood with the beginnings of sound. Fleeing from a run of evil gangsters, he made several films in Britain in the late 1930s, including three with Jessie Matthews.
