Katy Jurado and Maria Felix had a civil relationship.

Was discovered by film director Budd Boetticher in 1951, when he saw her sitting in a bullfight arena while he was in Mexico filming the film, Bullfighter and the Lady (1951). He cast her in a small part immediately, though she did not know a word of English.

Paul Kohner, (husband of Lupita Tovar), was Katy Jurado's agent.
