MINI BIO:

Eddie Quillan was a bright-eyed, dark-haired, effervescent American juvenile lead. He was well at home in collegiate comedies, in which he later developed into a useful supporting player in both comedy and drama. At seven years old he was on stage with his family's vaudeville act; he came to Hollywood at 19 to feature in comedy shorts, but it was in 1940 that he got one of his best roles, as Connie Rivers in The Grapes of Wrath. He played increasingly smaller roles in post-war years, but kept acting up to the early 1980s. He never married.
