Jane Russell Overview:

Legendary actress, Jane Russell, was born Ernestine Jane Geraldine Russell on Jun 21, 1921 in Bemidji, MN. Russell died at the age of 89 on Feb 28, 2011 in Santa Maria, CA .

MINI BIO:

A rarity: not only a brunette sex symbol but one who became more fondly regarded by the public as time wore on. She looked as though she liked the cinema to be fun, and her sense of humor and acceptance of her own limited ability lifted more than one of her films. She was most enjoyable in her roles opposite Robert Mitchum and Bob Hope - two leading men to whom she obviously responded.
