Actress, Harriet Hilliard, was born Peggy Lou Snyder on Jul 18, 1909 in Des Moines, IA. Hilliard appeared in over 35 film and TV roles. Hilliard died at the age of 85 on Oct 2, 1994 in Laguna Beach, CA and was laid to rest in Forest Lawn (Hollywood Hills) Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.

MINI BIO:

By the early 1930s Harriet Hilliard was performing in vaudeville and singing in New York City nightclubs. She met Ozzie Nelson in 1932, joined his big band, and married him three years later in 1935. In 1936, Hilliard made her feature film debut as Connie Martin in Follow the Fleet starring Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers and Randolph Scott; several more film appearances followed throughout the late 1930s and 1940s. Hilliard, however, is probably best known for her role as Harriet Nelson in The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, first on the hit radio show (1944-1954), then in the long-running TV sitcom (1952-1966).
