For the third year, TCM partnered with Bonhams Auction house to present a movie memorabilia auction "Treasures from the Dream Factory," on November 23 in New York City. Following the success of the 2013 and 2014 events - where a statuette from The Maltese Falcon sold for $4.2 million and the piano from Casablanca for $3.2M -- this year's auction again features a number of items from Hollywood's storied past.

In honor of this year's event, TCM presents an evening of films on November 9, from which objects will be featured in the auction. Among these are items from the Natalie Wood estate, including those relating to her role in the musical Gypsy (1962); a script, annotated by Charles Chaplin, for his comedy-drama Limelight (1953); a suit worn by Marilyn Monroe as Lorelei Lee in Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953); and an original poster from Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968).
