Sony Movie Channel (SMC) salutes the men and women of America's Armed Forces with a special Veterans Day Marathon on Wednesday, November 11, starting at 6:30 a.m. ET. The 13-film block kicks off with a pair of critically acclaimed television epics, featuring Robert Altman's celebrated courtroom drama THE CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL, as Eric Bogosian stands trial for relieving troubled Lieutenant Commander Brad Davis of his duties-an action that may have saved the lives of his ship and crew. The film follows the events of the Humphrey Bogart classic THE CAINE MUTINY, and also stars Jeff Daniels and Peter Gallagher. Then, John Hammond stars as a young newspaper reporter who experiences some of the most important events of the Civil War Era-from the Battle of Bull Run to the assassination of President Lincoln-in the sweeping 1982 mini-series THE BLUE AND THE GRAY at 8:40 a.m. ET. Additionally, the mini-series boasts a stellar supporting cast that includes Stacy Keach, Lloyd Bridges, Robert Vaughn, Rip Torn, and the beloved Gregory Peck as President Abraham Lincoln.

Jim Belushi stars as a sergeant who leads his outmatched squad to defend a desert oasis against the Germans in SAHARA at 3:15 p.m. ET. Next, Pat O'Brien and Cameron Mitchell helm a battleship through enemy waters in the 1952 adventure OKINAWA at 5:10 p.m. ET; and Alan Ladd stars as a WWII raider in the 1952 thriller PARATROOPER at 6:25 p.m. Then, hit the high seas with Ronald Reagan as a conflicted submarine commander with a tough choice to make in the 1957 love triangle drama HELLCATS OF THE NAVY, his first and only film with wife Nancy Reagan, at 9:30 p.m. ET; followed by Jack Lemmon as the captain of a misfit crew who unwittingly embarks on a dangerous mission in THE WACKIEST SHIP IN THE ARMY, at 9:30 p.m. ET; and Cliff Robertson plans a daring escape from a Japanese POW camp in the 1959 adventure BATTLE OF THE CORAL SEA, at 11:20 p.m. ET.

The classic war drama continues into the night, with Van Johnson as a Nazi fanatic who leads his German troops behind enemy lines to take down the Allied Forces in THE LAST BLITZKRIEG, with Kerwin Mathews and Dick York, at 12:55 a.m. ET. Then, Glenn Ford develops the first missiles to be launched from submarines in THE FLYING MISSILE at 2:30 a.m. ET; followed by the riveting tale of a battered battleship that lives to fight another day in BATTLE STATIONS, with John Lund, William Bendix, and Claude Akins, at 4:10 a.m. ET. And Tom Sizemore leads the charge to disable a Nazi super-bomb in the 2013 actioner COMPANY OF HEROES, with Vinnie Jones and Neal McDonough, at 5:40 a.m. ET. The day comes to a close with John Travolta as a DEA agent searching for missing Army Ranger Samuel L.
