The month of Oscar® kicks off with a block of Frank Capra dramedies starring Gary Cooper as a simple man whose life is complicated by a hefty inheritance in MR. DEEDS GOES TO TOWN, the film that earned Capra his second Best Director Oscar®, with Jean Arthur. And every man James Stewart stars as a scoutmaster who goes toe-to-toe with corrupt government officials in the 1940 Best Writing winner MR.
