Thursday, September 4 at 7 pm ET - Sound Off - Mickey Rooney plays a hard-nosed entertainer who, to his surprise, is inducted into the Army. He gets involved in a series of mishaps, but all turns out well in the end, with Rooney becoming a troop entertainer. The pace is lively, and the material is tailored to Rooney’s special talents. Friday, September 5 at 7 pm ET - All The Young Men - While holding position at a mountain pass during the Korean War, a platoon leader is mortally wounded and gives command to an inexperienced sergeant, angering the unit’s more battle-hardened soldiers. Starring: Alan Ladd, Ana St. Clair, Sidney Poitier, James Darren, Mort Sahl, Slenn Corbett and Hall Bartlett.
Saturday, September 6 at 7:30 pm ET - The Treasure of Silver Lake - Another in the "Old Shatterhand and Winnetou" series based on the novels of Karl May. Old Shatterhand and Winnetou come to the assistance of a young man whose father is murdered over a treasure map. They track down the culprit at Silver Lake and help the young man to recover the treasure.
Starring: Karin Dor, Eddi Arent, Lex Barker, Gotz George, Herbert Lom, Pierre Brice and Harald Reinl.
Sunday, September 7 at 7 pm ET - Brian’s Song - Story of the friendship between Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers, two Chicago Bears teammates, and the tragedy that affects the entire team when Piccolo develops terminal cancer. Starring: Billy Dee Williams, Jack Warden, James Caan, Judy Pace, Shelley Fabares and Buzz Kulik.
