Starts Friday at 3 a.m. ET and Goes All Day
To honor the legendary career of Frank Sinatra, getTV is celebrating what would have been his 99th birthday by airing a special programming block dedicated to Frank Sinatra on Friday, December 12. The night begins at 7 p.m. ET, with the swingin' Christmas gem HAPPY HOLIDAYS WITH BING AND FRANK; and then at 7:30 p.m. ET, Sinatra shines as a smooth-talking player in PAL JOEY, with Kim Novak and Rita Hayworth. He then helps Spencer Tracy rescue a children's leper colony as Harry in THE DEVIL AT 4 O'CLOCK at 10:35 p.m. ET; and his character John Baron plots to kill the president in SUDDENLY at 1:25 a.m. ET.
As part of the celebration, Sinatra fans are encouraged to join in on the birthday festivities by participating in getTV's #99ReasonsWeLoveSinatra Twitter party. Fans can respond by tweeting @getTV using the hashtag #99ReasonsWeLoveSinatra and posting on getTV's Facebook page to share their favorite Sinatra songs or tell a personal memory about the award-winning actor, filmmaker and singer.
