CULVER CITY, CA - Thursday, November 20, 2014 -Get ready to deck the halls with getTV this holiday season, as the network presents Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby in the rarely seen television gem "Happy Holidays with Bing and Frank" premiering on Sunday, November 30, at 10 p.m. ET and 10:35 p.m. ET. This is the first time that the episode will air on television in over a decade. The event will play throughout December as part of the network's month-long programming lineup, including a very special airing on Friday, December 12-what would have been Frank Sinatra's 99th birthday-at 7 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET.

 

Directed by Frank Sinatra, himself, the special originally aired on December 20, 1957, during the first season of THE FRANK SINATRA SHOW. Sinatra and Crosby are in rare form in the half-hour holiday treat, providing a one-of-a-kind glimpse at the men behind the music. Viewers will feel right at home as the legendary duo trades friendly banter, exchanges gifts, and shares treasured holiday memories, while teaming up to take on an impressive roster of Christmas classics.

 

The yuletide songfest is headlined by a multitude of unforgettable performances, as Ol' Blue Eyes and Bing Crosby lend their iconic voices to 13 festive standards featuring the Sinatra staple "Mistletoe & Holly"; solo showstoppers "Santa Clause Is Comin' To Town" and "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"; lively duets of "Oh, Little Town of Bethlehem," "Jingle Bells," and "The Christmas Song"; as well as a tour through Victorian England, with a group of carolers joining the men on "Deck the Halls" and "Oh, Come All Ye Faithful," among others; and heartfelt renditions of "It Came Upon A Midnight Clear" and "Away in a Manger," before closing out the evening with a stirring duet of Crosby's signature hit "White Christmas," as the snow begins to fall.
