Quotes from The War Lord
Priest:

Draco: True, true! I love the speech of scholars.
Priest: These young folks here think of nothing but frolic. "Desist!" I tell them, but they will go a-wantoning. So, lest the Devil take them, I preach them a text from holy writ. "Increase and multiply," I say. "Replenish the earth." And oh! how they obey me.
Chrysagon: [of Bronwyn] She has a calm face.

Facts about The War Lord
The original theater release prints had 'Richard Boone' reciting a poem over the procession before the end credits began. This scene was removed from the prints and replaced with an almost identical scene with no recitation.
According to Charlton Heston's published diaries, "Charlton Heston: The Actor's Life; Journals 1956-1976" he wanted Julie Christie to be his co-star, but she was vetoed by the studio.
Michael Conrad's dialog was dubbed by (probably) Paul Frees.
