Narrator:
Christopher Robin lived in another part of the forest where he could be near his friends and help them with their problems. On this summer day, Eeyore, being stuffed with sawdust, had lost his tail again.
Eeyore: [after Pooh gets stuck in the honey tree again] Stuck again.
Christopher Robin: Don't worry, Pooh. We'll get you out.
Winnie the Pooh: No hurry. Take your time.
Winnie the Pooh: Is anybody at home?
[no answer]
Winnie the Pooh: What I said was, "Is anybody at home?"
Rabbit: No.
Winnie the Pooh: Bother. Isn't there anybody here at all?
Rabbit: [collecting dishes from his table] Nobody.
Winnie the Pooh: Must be somebody there, because somebody must have said, "Nobody."

Facts about
This featurette was originally released in the USA on a double bill with the full-length film The Ugly Dachshund.
Gopher often says, "I'm not in the book." This has a double meaning: he's not in the phone book and he is also not in the A.A. Milne book. Gopher is the only Pooh character that did not originate in one of Milne's books. He was originally created to replace Piglet, until they decided to bring Piglet in for Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day.
Posters from the initial release include pictures of Piglet and Tigger, who wouldn't appear until the next short, Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day. The design for Tigger is closer to the original Ernest Shepard illustrations than the final design used on screen.
