Clocking in at 77 minutes, it ranks as the longest B-picture made on "poverty row" in the 1940's.

Producer Sigmund Neufeld and director Sam Newfield were brothers. Sam "Anglicized" the family name and Sigmund didn't.

The film was refused a UK cinema certificate in 1942, but passed uncut 10 years later.
