This is currently a lost film, but the trailer survived and is one of the 50 films in the 3-disk boxed DVD set called "More Treasures from American Film Archives, 1894-1931" (2004), compiled by the National Film Preservation Foundation from 5 American film archives. It is preserved by the UCLA Film and Television Archive and has a running time of 92 seconds.

This movie was responsible for the popular assumption that Daniel Boone wore a coonskin cap. He didn't. He was a Quaker and wore a short, broad-brimmed felt hat with the edges turned up, as can be seen in his portraits. The reason for the confusion is that many people over the years thought that Jack Mower's character, who does wear a coonskin cap, is Daniel Boone. He wasn't - Daniel Boone was portrayed by another actor.
