"Lux Radio Theater" broadcast a 60 minute radio adaptation of the movie onNovember 4, 1946 with Catherine McLeod reprising her film role.

At the time this movie was made, Borden Chase was married to Lee, who was a concert pianist and who may have helped inspire the story. Lee brought to their marriage two daughters, Barry - who became Fred Astaire's dancing partner, and Pat - who became romantically involved with her stepfather, Borden Chase.
