Second of nine educational films produced by Bell Laboratories on the subjects of the sun, the human circulatory system, radioactivity, the weather, heredity, language, the oceans, the five senses, and time. Four of these films were directed by Frank Capra.These films were used regularly in classrooms since they were well produced and Bell Laboratories would supply 16mm copies of the films to schools free of charge. The films were criticized by Time Magazine as being "condescending", but embraced by nearly everyone else.
