One of over 700 Paramount Productions, filmed between 1929 and 1949, which were sold to MCA/Universal in 1958 for television distribution, and have been owned and controlled by Universal ever since. However, because of legal complications, this particular title was not included in the original television package and may not have ever been televised.
The original Broadway production of "Follow Thru" opened at the Chanin's 46th Street Theatre on January 9, 1929, and ran for 401 performance. Jack Haley, Zelma O'Neal, Margaret Lee and Don Tomkins reprise their original stage roles. Other opening-night cast members included Arthur Aylesworth, Madeline Cameron, Edith Campbell, Dorothy Day, Irene Delroy, Al Downing, Frank Kingdon and John Sheehan.
