Brenda Starr, Reporter (1945) is the one Columbia serial which was thought to perhaps be lost to the ravages of time. Over the years, there have been a number of rumors of the existence of 16mm or 35mm film prints. This serial does indeed exist, though it remains unavailable commercially. A number of recent (May 2005) IMDB updates are based on actual on screen credits.
