Brother of Leo Gorcey.
Father of David Gorcey Jr.
Gorcey sometimes used his mother's maiden name, Condon, as his stage name because he didn't want people to think he was riding on the coat tails of his more famous brother, Leo.
He described his character in the Bowery Boys movies as being like "wallpaper" or being "painted into a scene" with little more to do than saying "yes, boss" or "no, boss."
Son of Bernard Gorcey.
Uncle of Leo Gorcey Jr.
