Virginia Weidler Overview:

Character actress, Virginia Weidler, was born on Mar 21, 1927 in Eagle Rock, CA. Weidler died at the age of 41 on Jul 1, 1968 in Los Angeles, CA .

Not many screen children really qualify as character players, but bumpy-nosed Virginia Weidler was definitely one of them. The dark-haired Californian tot had honest, inquisitive features, could sing and was usually seen as the kid told to scram because she bothered the adults in films like George Cukor's The Philadelphia and 1943's Best Foot Forward.  Like many child actors, when Weilder reached adulthood she moved away from the Hollywood scene, retiring from the film Industry in 1943.
