Legendary actress, Dolores Costello, was born on Sep 17, 1903 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Costello died at the age of 75 on Mar 1, 1979 in Fallbrook, CA and was laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA.

MINI BIO:

Pale, initially dark-haired (later blonde) American actress of fragile appearance, who was married to John Barrymore from 1928 to 1935. Returned to the screen after the break-up of her marriage but soon found that her silent screen image had dated and left films for good in the 1940s. Daughter of early silent actor Maurice Costello, sister of actress Helene Costello (with whom she appeared in films as a child), and mother of actor John Drew Barrymore (John Barrymore Jr). Died from emphysema.

She was honored with one star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the category of Motion Pictures. Costello was never nominated for an Academy Award.
