MINI BIO:
Although many remember puffy-faced, Australian-born Marie Lohr for her dragons and dowagers, she was on stage at age four in her native Sydney, and became a regular on the London stage at age 11, eventually running up one of the longest lists of credits ever recorded in the British theatre. Film appearances were understandably spasmodic, but hers were always performances to be reckoned with and she was still in leading character roles well into her sixties.
