Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams was a big, hunkish American actor who began in tiny roles, won feature billing in a series of 1920's western then, with the coming of sound, settled down to more than 20 years of being the big, loyal, but not-too-bright friend of the hero, mostly in vigorous action pictures. A former baseball pro in his youth, he died from uraemic poisoning.
