Carol Burnett, whose performances on stage and screen have made her one of the most beloved women in the country, will visit the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on Oct. 24 and 25. The program, titled "Carol Burnett - An Evening of Laughter and Reflection Where the Audience Asks Questions," has Burnett fielding queries from the audience and showing video clips from her shows.
Burnett, 83, and a grandmother of two, lives in Santa Barbara with her husband, Brian Miller.
The MDJ recently spoke with the comedy legend, touching on her childhood, the difficulty of remaining in character on "The Carol Burnett Show," the death of her daughter and how she keeps her sense of humor.
