On the market for the first time in almost three decades is the famous former home of Hollywood royal couple: 20th Century Fox co-founder William Goetz and his socialite wife Edie - daughter of prominent MGM studio head Louis B Mayer.

Edith Mayer, or 'Edie' Goetz, eldest daughter of the great MGM studio head Louis B Mayer, married film producer Bill Goetz in 1930. The match made in Hollywood heaven cemented the couple's royal status among the film colony.

In 1947, the Goetzes bought a home in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. The residence quickly became famous for its museum-quality pool of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art, as well as the party pad for many of Golden Age Hollywood's elite.
