–Annmarie Gatti from Classic Movie Hub
my favorite Rita dance number is the garden waltz with Fred Astaire in You Were Never Lovelier.
“You Were Never Lovelier” with Fred Astaire
I loved every number in An Affair in Trinidad….. She was simply sumptuous and divine.
Love her opening number in “Affair in Trinidad”.
The next one I see…..
Her dance with Fred Astaire, “I’m Old Fashioned” from “You Were Never Lovlier”. One of my favorite movies.
My favorite Rita Hayworth dance number is the dance of the veils in Salome!
Favorite dance number: The Shorty George
Of course first I would have to say “Put The Blame On Mame,” because it was my first introduction to Rita Hayworth, but since then I’d have to say her as “Salome” in the film of the same name. Her Seven Veils dance is spellbinding!
“I’m old fashioned” with Fred Astaire in You Were Never Lovelier.
