Well there are a lot of great ones. One of My favorites is the globe scene from The Great Dictator. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJOuoyoMhj8
Wonderful! I remember it well! Thanks for sharing and good luck this week!
The iconic “roll dance” from The Gold Rush. Amazing how something so simple is so entertaining. I could watch it over and over again.
The ending of “City Lights” gets me every single time. :'(
The paddy wagon scene from “the kid”. Breaks my heart everytime
THE LITTLE TRAMP eating his shoes like a bowl of spaghetti. Funny but poignant at the same time. And VERY topical now. A timeless film that says so much without saying anything at all.
The globe scene in “The Great Dictator”
Oh, hard to choose. I’m choosing the cabin on the cliff segment from Gold Rush. The preparation for those scenes, the miniatures built, the comic timing all speak to Chaplin’s greatness on many levels. Plus my day was hanging off a cliff nuts today.
