Destination Tokyo best movie
It’s a tough call since Cary a Grant is excellent in both dramatic & comedic roles, but I’d say my favorite Cary Grant movie is Bringing Up Baby. The first time I watched it, I think I laughed harder than I had at any other movie! He and Katharine Hepburn work so well together. There’s just something about every little twist & turn of the movie that he handles so brilliantly.
“The Philadelphia Story” Besides romance AND comedy- always perfect together, the movie teamed three of the best actors of their generation- Katharine Hepburn, Cary Grant and James Stewart
Your definitely right that’s a tough decision but I will have to say “The Awful Truth ” Gary Grant and Irene Dunne just clicked and played and bounced off each other so well. I just love that movie. ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡
There are so many great Cary Grant movies, but I think my favorite is “That Touch of Mink.” Cary and Doris Day have great chemistry and comedic timing.
An Affair to Remember is my absolute favourite Cary Grant flick! I love that so many other movies and tv shows have tried to replicate the storyline:)
It’s hard to pick a favorite because there are so many of his films I enjoy. But I think I will have to go with Bringing Up Baby, because it was the film that introduced me to Cary Grant (and Katharine Hepburn) as well as my first classic film which started my love for old movies.
I love all his movies but it’s a toss up between Philadelphia Story and An Affair to Remember.
ALL CARYS MOVIES! But BRINGING up BABY a Laughfest from start to finish!!
Thats like picking you favorite child – comedy or drama, young grant or mature grant. Yikes. If pressed, I will go for His Girl Friday. (tomorrow likely to be Bringing Up Baby, and the next day, North By Norhtwest, or Arsenic and Old Lace). Better stop now!
I’ll always have a soft spot for “Charade”, as that was my first Cary Grant movie!
