To kick things off, we’ll be giving away a copy of Harold Lloyd: Magic in a Pair of Horn-Rimmed Glasses this week — the first of our four Classic Book Giveaways this month via Twitter (click here to see the other books we’ll be giving away this month)…

I’ve only seen snippets of Lloyd’s films but I’d like to see Safety Last in its entirety to see what other stunts go with the breathtaking high altitude stuff. Thanks.
I’m just starting to really appreciate silent film. I’d like see “Safety Last” as my first Lloyd film. I didn’t realize he actually did his own stunts so seeing the iconic clock scene is a must.
Safety Last was the first Harold Lloyd film that I watched, and it’s still my favorite.
SAFETY LAST! was my first and still most beloved Harold Lloyd film. I saw it at the Brattle Theater in Cambridge, MA during a week-long Lloyd film festival. I went back for at least three more that week.
Must have been wonderful to see it on the Big Screen!
I’ve never seen a Harold Llyod film but I would love to see “Why Worry?”
My favorite is “Speedy” because I love the frenzied driving scenes!
I’d love to see “Why Worry”. I’m always looking for a humorous way to stop worrying. This sounds like a great cure!
