Fred Allen is probably best remembered for his radio work (Town Hall Tonight, The Fred Allen Show), as well as his long-running 'feud' with long-time pal and fellow comedian Jack Benny. He appeared in a handful of films through 1952, most notably Sally Irene and Mary starring Alice Faye, and We're Not Married starring Ginger Rogers and Marilyn Monroe.
